Job summary

TEKsystems in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Desktop Support technician for a contract role onsite. You will support desktop hardware, software, and network issues, install and maintain computers and peripherals, and handle imaging and deployments for a large lifecycle refresh.

Responsibilities include day-to-day ticket handling, device replacements, and partnering on the Windows 12 migration plan. This temporary role offers onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Description

A Desktop Support position involves providing technical assistance to staff, managing computer hardware/software, and resolving network issues. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems, printers, and peripheral devices to ensure high-quality support in a clinical setting. They are running a large project for their lifecycle refresh of 1200 devices. Their employees will support day to day break/fix and standard deployments. They will have 3000 phone devices that need to be replaced by end of year ahead of their Windows 12 migration. THese technicians will support both day to day tickets and scope and begin the phone refresh project alongside the lifecycle refresh.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Offer in-person support for software, hardware, and network issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
