Job summary

Option 1 Staffing is actively seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a TOP community hospital. The role involves collaborating with the Service Desk and Desktop Engineering teams to deliver technology infrastructure services, with a focus on Windows 11, AD, and Intune MDM.

You will own escalated tickets, provide user training, and maintain knowledge of services and processes to uphold operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in at least three of the listed technologies and systems.
• Experience with Windows 11 and Intune MDM OR VDI environments is required.
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus and adds value to the role.
• Three to five years of desktop support experience is preferred.

As the Desktop Support Tech you will work alongside the Service Desk and Desktop Engineering teams with hardware, software, and other services to deliver technology infrastructure services to their esteemed community. This role provides candidates an excellent opportunity to contribute in a team environment and develop a clear understanding of the intersection between business and technology, while also progressing their cloud skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning escalated L2/3 tickets and requests as well as setting clear and realistic expectations with employees to contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
• Providing advice and training for users as it relates to incidents and requests.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of existing services and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in at least three of the following: Active Directory, 0365, Windows Desktop, ServiceNow ticketing system Exchange/Outlook
• Experience with Windows 11 and Intune MDM OR VDI environments
• Experience providing VP Support
• Printer Support/maintenance
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of desktop experience
• Healthcare experience is a plus
