Job summary

People, Incorporated is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team in Fall River, MA. This full-time role (40 hours) provides information technology support to the agency, including computer deployments, troubleshooting, and user setup.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a valid driver's license with background check.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skill in office functions including but not limited to computer operations.
• Skill in organization, prioritization, and working independently.
• Skill in communicating and working with others cooperatively.
• A driver's license as well as a qualifying criminal background check and driving record

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the installation of new computers and peripherals.
• Replace desktop hardware as needed as well as basic laptop hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printer issues.
• Remove virus, spyware, and malware as needed.
• Install all software and hardware as required.
• Restore Windows software.
• Domain, Email & Intranet user setup and maintenance.
• Set up equipment for special events.
• Monitor and complete Agency IT Requests.
• Responsible for moving equipment as necessary.
• Maintain and run Network cabling as necessary.

People Incorporated is looking for a dynamic individual to join our IT team as a Desktop Support Specialist. This position is responsible for providing information technology support to the Agency.

Pay $23.00 / Hourly
