NYU Langone Health is looking for a Desktop Support Manager to oversee IT staff in supporting education, research, and clinical desktop needs. This role provides leadership, ensuring reliable technical infrastructure and effective problem resolution.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Desktop Support Manager, supporting Education, Research and Clinical desktop. This position will provide leadership to an IT staff of professionals in a single function, overseeing staff responsible for providing and maintaining a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community. This may include running, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems, servers, networks, and/or desktop environments; responding promptly and effectively to customer problems and either directly resolving the problems or escalating to the appropriate resource and monitoring its effective resolution. Also includes telephone operator staff. Provides work direction and reviews work as needed.
Prior supervisory experience is required. Night/off peak hours work required, as necessary.
To qualify you must have at least 5 or more years of experience and a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
