Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Aurora, CO. This is an independent contractor, part-time on-demand role with no guaranteed hours.

Work assignments are provided by the Service Delivery Team and on-site visits will be scheduled as required. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals, configure hardware, assist with network connectivity, and follow client security

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Basic networking understanding (LAN, switches, routers).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

Role Overview
