Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist staff across multiple CCHA locations with technical support for desktops, applications, and peripherals. You will install and test computer systems, maintain workstations and laptops, and ensure equipment aligns with established guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years of workstation support experience, strong customer service skills, and basic network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in CS/MIS or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years workstation support in large-scale production environment.
• Strong customer service experience required.
• Experience diagnosing and replacing hardware on desktops/laptops.
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on desktops and peripherals.
• Basic network, software and printing troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with government security requirements (HIPAA).

Job description

DEFINITION:

The position assists staff at all CCHA locations with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. Support includes specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established guidelines. Employee will also assist in the maintenance and testing of workstations, laptops, peripherals and associated equipment.

EDUCATION:

Associates degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent degree is preferred, although will consider applicable experience or certification in lieu of degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of workstation support experience in a large scale production environment preferred.
• Customer Service Experience a must.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs.
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops and peripherals.
• Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems.
• Demonstrated experience with workstation support in compliance with government security requirements (HIPPAA)
