Job Description

At Regions, the Desktop Services Consultant utilizes extensive technical knowledge to partner with company objectives and translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions. This position fulfills the role of desktop architecture design and development and includes all related new and existing technology as subject matter expert.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages a fleet of printers, workstations, and servers
• Oversees the development, quality assurance, and pilot and production implementations of applications, Operating Systems, and patches for both the corporate and branch environments
• Designs technical solutions that translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions
• Evaluates emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with company’s business needs and strategic objectives

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of Information Technology experience
• OR High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) years of Information Technology experience
• Extensive architecture experience and/or familiarity with Microsoft Operating systems, Visual Basic and PowerShell languages, Batch, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, MS SQL, and Imaging and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions

Preferences

• A+ Certification and/or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

This position is currently offsite; however associates must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham AL, Atlanta GA, or Charlotte NC. Associates will work from their home primarily. They may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum: $63,168.60 USD

Median: $83,390.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
