Job summary

National Beef in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Desktop Administrator to join our on-site IT team. You will support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, and help maintain Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities include end-user support, hardware upgrades, system imaging, and helping coordinate IT projects with central teams. Stakeholders value reliable, secure, and responsive IT service.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Active Directory.
• Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• High school diploma required; college or technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the site.
• Deliver high-quality support to both technical and non-technical users.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Office applications) and Windows environments.
• Assist with basic server and network troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
• Perform system imaging, patching, and updates.
• Ensure devices meet corporate security and compliance standards.
• Serve as IT contact for local users; coordinate with central IT teams.
• Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
• Windows Desktop & Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Exchange, basic networking.

Responsibilities

Desktop Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• End-User Support & Operations
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates for the Desktop Administrator position should possess the following:
