Job summary

St. Clair County School System is seeking a Desktop Administrator to provide end-user support, troubleshoot systems, and manage hardware/software inventories. The role focuses on maintaining security, imaging devices, and disaster recovery planning across the district.

The position reports to the Technology Director and requires strong collaboration with staff. A high school diploma and several years of related technical experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in technical computer technology or related field is expected.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems and AD/Group Policy is essential.
  • Familiarity with MAC OS, imaging software and malware prevention is important.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates support for the school system and its priorities.
  • Maintains confidential information and ensures regular attendance.
  • Documents, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software as needed.
  • Supports user accounts, security, and system groups.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical issues.
  • Assists end users with technical issues and onboarding.

SALARY:BasedontheSt.ClairCountySchoolSystemSalary Schedule

TERMSOFEMPLOYMENT:12month
