Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a lead administrative and customer service specialist for military housing operations in Guam. About the Role

This role serves as the lead for administrative and customer service support within military housing operations. Manages the Electronic Military Housing (eMH) database, maintains accurate housing records, coordinates room assignments and inspections, and serves as a primary point of contact for service members regarding housing-related needs and concerns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provides technical guidance and support to team members, assists with daily operations, and ensures work is completed accurately and in accordance with quality and compliance standards.
  • Utilizes, updates, and maintains the Electronic Military Housing (eMH) database to support daily housing operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Receives, processes, reconciles, interprets, and summarizes documentation using standard office equipment and established procedures.
  • Communicates regularly with service members, vendors, government personnel, and company employees to exchange information, coordinate services, and provide customer support.
  • Responds to service member concerns, assists with identifying appropriate solutions, and conducts timely follow-up to ensure issues are resolved and customer needs are addressed.
  • Maintains accurate and complete manual and electronic records related to service members, room assignments, barracks, inspections, and other housing operations.
  • Manages room assignments, transfers, and terminations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Schedules and conducts check-in, check-out, vacancy, and other required room inspections.
  • Follows established methods, procedures, and quality standards to complete assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and consistently.
  • Logs, tracks, coordinates, and reports service calls to the appropriate department or area of responsibility and follows up as needed.
  • Issues, tracks, and maintains accountability for mechanical keys and electronic key cards assigned to service members and rooms.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, applicable government requirements, and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • stomer service, front desk, housing, hospitality, or administrative experience in a retail, office, hospitality, or other service-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with service members, customers, staff, vendors, and government personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge or experience with the Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) program is preferred.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background investigation, if required for the position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to the applicable government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy when operating vehicles or equipment is required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, operating office equipment, and handling paperwork.
  • Ability to routinely climb stairs and walk throughout housing facilities to conduct inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and other areas as required.
  • Ability to move throughout the worksite and respond to service member or operational needs during the assigned shift.
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, extended, weekend, and holiday schedules as necessary to meet mission requirements.

US Pay Range

$21.05 - $21.05 USD
