JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design styles and research new fabrics that are new, and aesthetically appropriate for the brands
• Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to execution
• Ability to translate design direction from mood boards
• Create tech packs as needed
• Proficiency in sketching illustrations
• Knowledge of denim washes, construction and techniques
• Adhere to the time and action calendar
• Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production
• Maintain and meet all deadline demands

SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel and Simparel is a plus
• CAD experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
