Job description

The Digital Designer oversees concept development, design, and production for a global beauty brand's digital platform. You lead digital photoshoot conceptualization and asset production, collaborating closely with in-house teams. Ensure deliverables meet global requirements. Manage projects with a dedicated manager and external agency support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute a wide range of digital projects including site banners, emails, display banners ads, PDP pages, and SEO pages.
2. Collaborate closely with the Creative VP on digital asset production, from project kickoff to completion, encompassing photoshoot concepting, concept presentation and sign-off, pre and post-production, final artwork, and finished asset delivery.
3. Conduct light-color retouching and image resizing on visual assets.
4. Drive digital creative strategies and ensure consistent application of brand standards for all digital assets in alignment with overarching campaign visuals.
5. Manage multiple projects and closely adhere to digital production project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
6. Deliver experienced and effective creative presentations, including to senior members of staff.
7. Demonstrate an enthusiasm for the agile nature of business needs.

Qualifications:

1. Self-starter with 5-10 years of experience in digital design with eCommerce focus.
2. Prior experience in either a creative agency or in-house design team.
3. Preferably from a prestige beauty background.
4. Understanding of user experience methodologies and practices.
5. Ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently against tight deadlines.
6. Keen eye for clean design and ability to execute tactical direction efficiently.
7. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (expert proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and presentation design (Powerpoint). Sketch app and/or video editing skills.
8. Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach to daily challenges with strong cross-department communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently on assignments quickly and with efficiency and organization.
