Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of EI&C design experience.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design activities across sites for power, controls, grounding, lighting, and schematics.
• Develop P&IDs and network diagrams for instrumentation and controls.
• Conduct field surveys to confirm conditions and gather data.
• Create, modify, and maintain EI&C drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with CAD designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Review and update design docs to reflect changes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving during project execution.
• Maintain organized records of design files and docs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Designer/Technician III specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) to join our team. This mid-level role involves supporting the design and technical aspects of EI&C projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience using design software such as AutoCAD or Revit to develop detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Electrical design activities including site and building power & controls, grounding, lighting & receptacle plans, interconnect wiring & riser diagrams, and schematics.
• Assist in Instrumentation and Controls design, including developing P&IDs and Network diagrams.
• Conduct field inspection/surveys or project sites to confirm existing conditions, take measurements, obtain record information from utilities and obtain other relevant data.
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Revit to create, modify, and maintain detailed EI&C drawings and models.
• Collaborate and communicate with CAD designers, engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and project success.
• Review and update design documentation to reflect changes and revisions.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during project execution.
• Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
• Qualifications

Salary Range

$35.00 - $51.00/hour
