Alpha Design+Build is seeking a Residential Designer as a part-time independent contractor to join our team. This role combines design, sales, and client collaboration, serving as the face of our company for new clients. Responsibilities

• Create engaging residential designs using Chief Architect or similar software.
• Guide clients throughout the design process with professionalism and creativity.
• Prepare proposals and collaborate with construction teams to ensure feasibility.
• Contribute to sales goals through consultative selling.
• Present design concepts and options aligned with client budgets and preferences.
• Stay informed on cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and current design trends.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Participate in company meetings as needed.
• Travel locally for site visits and client consultations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of residential design experience.
• Proficiency in Chief Architect (subscription provided by us).
• Strong understanding of residential construction materials and layout planning.
• Customer-centric with interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Tech-savvy with CRM and project management tools experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability for occasional evenings/weekends.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
