Job summary

Gensler Newport Beach seeks an experienced interior designer to lead complex interiors projects, from programming client needs to design development and construction documentation.

You must be highly proficient in Revit, have strong knowledge of FF&E and materials, and demonstrate outstanding graphic storytelling and leadership. The role offers a collaborative, client-focused design environment with opportunities for licensure support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of interior design experience.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Strong knowledge of the design process including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials.
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills.
• Willingness to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp.
• NCIDQ preferred but not required; licensure is supported and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
• Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
• Manage client expectations, and coordinate team and consultant communications.

Compensation is based upon experience and estimated range is $85,000 – $120,000 annually + bonuses + benefits
