Job summary

TechnipFMC in Texas seeks an experienced designer to lead production of design and fabrication plans, installation sketches and animation for SSE projects, ensuring conformance to standards and schedules. You will work on complex design tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years drafting experience, strong knowledge of CAD, NX and Teamcenter, and proven leadership and communication skills to guide a culturally diverse

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in ME, EE, Drafting or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in drafting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools.
• Project management skills.
• Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise diverse cultural team.
• Ability to transfer expertise and persuade.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with client’s requirements, the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
• Supervises, adjusts, and consolidates the design work within projects.
• Contributes to identifying risks associated with design activities.
• Directly works on complex design assignments or related activities as a skilled designer.

Job Purpose

Leads the production of design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation within SSE's standard projects and/or operations, in accordance with drawing, design, manufacturing standards and processes, schedule and man hours, with a permanent concern for quality standards and targets.
