This position is responsible for the creation of custom injection mold tools for silicone injection molded components related to the life science biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Tooling will include the injection tooling, mandrels, fixturing, mandrel removal tools and any other required tooling for production to efficiently interact with the injection tool.
The candidate will have a high level of ability to design in SolidWorks and use PDM. Must be able to follow SOPs, MOPs, and WIs for all work required. The candidate will also be able to work independently, be self-starting, and have a proven ability to collaborate with a team to optimize designs.
Candidates will also promote a safe working environment, comply with proper use of PPE, report incidents, and participate in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
This job will be located on-site at Saint-Gobain Beaverton, Michigan.
