Job summary

SV Design in Beverly, MA is seeking a motivated Interior Designer to join our residential interiors team. You will support projects from concept through installation, collaborating with mid- and senior-level designers to translate thoughtful design into buildable interiors.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of residential design experience, a degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of residential interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Studio Designer and Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Full-time, in-office availability at Beverly, MA; commuting distance required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple residential projects through all phases, from initial concept to installation.
• Produce drawings and documentation for interior architecture and furnishings, including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Draft construction documents such as tile and stone layouts, millwork details, reflected ceiling plans, and electrical plans.
• Research and source interior products and finishes, including tile, stone, plumbing fixtures, decorative lighting, wallcoverings, and custom millwork.
• Create selection schedules and visual materials to clearly communicate design intent.
• Draft custom furniture drawings, including plans, elevations, and perspectives.
• Prepare for client and internal design meetings by assembling presentation boards, drawings, and visuals.
• Coordinate with vendors and showrooms to obtain quotes, lead times, and samples.
• Create proposals and purchase orders using Studio Designer and assist with tracking orders through delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and receivers to support production schedules and deliveries.
• Attend client meetings and site visits as needed.
• Maintain and organize the sample library.
