Job summary

SV Design's Beverly office is seeking a full-time Interior Designer / Project Manager to join the residential team. You will balance multiple priorities while supporting large projects and leading small to mid-sized initiatives from concept through installation.

Under senior designers, you will contribute to interior architecture and furnishings projects, ensuring exceptional client service and precise project execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional residential interior design experience.
• Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating residential interior design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency with the ability to independently produce and revise interior design drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Revit proficiency preferred.
• Experience with Studio Designer and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Knowledge of interior architecture, furnishings, FFE, materials, finishes, and construction.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work with architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and priorities.
• Strong client-facing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be within reasonable commuting distance of our Beverly, Massachusetts office.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Support senior designers on large projects and lead small to mid-sized projects.
• Develop design concepts, presentations, plans, elevations, and specifications.
• Produce and revise interior design drawings in AutoCAD as needed.
• Source and specify finishes, furnishings, fixtures, materials, lighting, and FFE.
• Serve as a primary client contact on assigned projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and fabricators.
• Attend client and jobsite meetings and follow projects through construction and installation.
• Support procurement, furnishings installation, and project closeout.
• Prepare project scopes, proposals, and fee estimates.
