Job summary

The role requires hands-on experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, strong typography, and a portfolio demonstrating design and motion skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional motion and design experience in a studio or media organization.
• Strong grasp of motion theory, typography, composition, and hierarchy.
• Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite; hands-on knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for timely results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Online portfolio or reel showcasing design and type layout.
• Curiosity about trends in design and animation within a DTC model.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Adobe Suite to create designs for short-term and long-range assignments.
• Support ESPN platforms with graphics, key art, quick edits, and animation packages.
• Collaborate with partners to elevate ESPN's storytelling across platforms.
• Deliver high-quality design and motion solutions on tight timelines.
• Integrate into established team workflows and processes.
• Translate direction into custom graphical layouts and animated solutions.
• Communicate effectively to keep timelines and expectations on track.
• Contribute ideas and learn new software to enhance versatility.
• Maintain high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment/software/work environment issues.
