Job summary

Perkins&Will’s San Francisco studio is a 100-person team within a 3,000-person global practice, providing mentorship, robust resources, and diverse project work. You will contribute to schematic design through construction documents, thinking critically about design problems and owning tasks as you grow.

We seek a Designer II who communicates clearly, questions assumptions, and collaborates with partners and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in architecture or related discipline required.
• Preparing for the ARE with active involvement in AXP.
• BIM proficiency with Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper; knowledge of building codes.
• Experience with MS Office, Adobe Suite; Enscape or V-Ray a plus.
• LEED GA within 6 months and Living Design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate drawings across schematic design, design development, and construction documents under supervision.
• Take increasing ownership of tasks and self-check for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare for design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups with clear design thinking.
• Coordinate effectively with partners and consultants.
