Job summary

DeKalb Health in Verona, VA is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to prepare general arrangement drawings for customer orders and provide basic sales order support. You will contribute to design of product components and ensure drawings meet order requirements and schedules.

The role requires an Associate degree in engineering/drafting and 2 years of drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Purpose and Scope of Job

Primarily responsible for the preparation general arrangement drawings to document customer orders and providing basic sales order support.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

• Provide sales order support with general arrangement drawings.
• Provide general design support of product components and accessories.
• Prepare general design drawings to support order requirements and meet design schedules.
• Check BOM to support customer orders

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Drafting and Design or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years of experience as a designer or mechanical drafter.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Any additional essential skills and/or knowledge as shown in the HRIS Career & Education > Skills section for incumbents holding this job title.
