Job summary

BMA Architects in Bridgehampton, NY seeks a Designer with 1-3 years of experience to contribute to luxury residential projects. You will collaborate with senior staff to develop design intent from schematic design through construction administration, coordinating with clients, consultants and the project team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Strong design, graphic and organizational skills
• Working knowledge / professional experience in construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, and graphics
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards & construction
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, energetic with exceptional design, graphic, communication and organizational skills
• Computer skills preferably include Sketchup, Midjourney, D5, Revit, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively in our studio with clients, consultants, vendors etc.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and have the willingness to relocate or commute to Bridgehampton, NY.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff and project teams to develop and carry out the design intent from schematic design through construction administration.
• Support development of design concepts and translate them into construction documents and graphics.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of drawings and models.
