Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Our client, a contemporary women's dress brand, is looking for a Designer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Support the design team in creating four seasonal collections, contributing original design concepts aligned with the brand’s vision and market positioning.
• Research trends, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes to inspire new ideas and maintain a strong understanding of the contemporary landscape.
• Develop detailed sketches, CADs, and tech packs for sampling and production.
• Collaborate with patternmakers, product development, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Participate in fittings and design reviews, making informed adjustments based on feedback.
• Maintain organized boards, samples, and design documentation throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in a contemporary fashion design role, with proven experience in Ready-to-Wear and/or Eveningwear.
• Sustainability experience is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, and finishing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong eye for color, proportion, and trend relevance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A portfolio showcasing contemporary, commercially relevant designs and a refined sense of style.
