Job summary

Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience for the entry-level U.S. Architectural Designer I position.
• Experience with SketchUp/FormIt is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop proficiency with BIM and architectural design tools and produce coordinated construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work with design and technical teams to develop construction drawings and specifications.
• Assist with architectural reports, studies, drawings, and graphics using applicable design software.
• Assist in determining the content of architectural models and drawings.
• Coordinate architectural models and drawings with other design disciplines.
• Support construction documentation using BIM and design tools.
• Assist with drawing revisions, RFIs, field bulletins, and design verification as needed.
• Develop knowledge of products, vendors, clearances, and coordination with other disciplines.

The Designer Architectural is responsible for accurately preparing complex construction documents and well-considered technical solutions under the supervision of a Lead Architect. The role works closely with architectural, design, and technical teams to support the development and coordination of project deliverables.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Work closely with design and technical teams, including other disciplines, to support the development of design deliverables such as construction drawings and specifications.
• Assist with preparing architectural reports, studies, drawings, and graphics using applicable design software.
• Assist the Architectural Project Discipline Lead in determining the intent and content of architectural models and drawings.
• Coordinate architectural models and drawings with other design disciplines.
• Support the preparation and coordination of construction documentation using BIM and architectural design tools.
• Support project teams with drawing revisions, RFIs, field bulletins, and design verification activities as experience progresses.
• Develop knowledge of product types, vendors, required clearances, support requirements, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
