Job summary

Forj Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Design Verification Engineering Technician to support the construction and maintenance of verification fixtures and lab equipment used in medical device verification testing.

You will assist design verification engineers with test stands, troubleshoot fixtures, calibrate equipment, and document configurations. A two-year technical degree and hands-on experience in a related field are preferred, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year tech degree or higher preferred.
• 2 years technical experience in the medical or related industry.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
• Capable of creating technical documentation detailing verification test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test fixtures and verification equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair fixtures used in verification testing.
• Assist with calibration and qualification of test fixtures.
• Track configurations of test fixtures and equipment.
• Assist in setting up verification test stands or test cells.
• Follow standard operating procedures and best practices.
