Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to lead technical program industrialization across Draper’s product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 7–10 years of Systems Engineering or related experience.
• Experience with planning, implementing and closing product design transfers into production environments and TRL/MRL processes; risk management and Manufacturing Readiness Assessments.
• Ability to travel to off-site locations (<25%).
• Applicants selected will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control priorities, scope, schedule, and cost to baselines by monitoring program/task performance.
• Independently derive system-level I&T requirements and define plans, approaches, and detailed test procedures to solve complex I&T problems.
• Identify program/system-level I&T risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop, document, and teach best practices to less experienced engineers.
