A leading medical devices company is looking for a Design Technician I in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting the site lead and DHF leads in coordinating documentation and ensuring consistency. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, relevant technical experience, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing DHF documentation, collaborating with team members, and potentially supporting lab testing. This is a 12-month initial contract.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED combined with related technical experience is required.
Completion of college-level coursework with related experience in testing is preferred.
Evidence of technical/mechanical skills is needed.
Computer proficiency is required (i.e. MS Outlook, Excel, MS Word).
Effective planning and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Proactive nature and capable of working independently and with others.
Responsibilities
Support site lead and DHF leads in coordinating work.
Ensure documentation remains consistent across the DHFs.
Prepare full DHF documentation in accordance with internal SOPs.
Effectively communicate and work cooperatively with team.
May support or execute testing in the lab as needed.
