Job summary

A leading medical devices company is looking for a Design Technician I in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting the site lead and DHF leads in coordinating documentation and ensuring consistency. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, relevant technical experience, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing DHF documentation, collaborating with team members, and potentially supporting lab testing. This is a 12-month initial contract.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED combined with related technical experience is required.
• Completion of college-level coursework with related experience in testing is preferred.
• Evidence of technical/mechanical skills is needed.
• Computer proficiency is required (i.e. MS Outlook, Excel, MS Word).
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proactive nature and capable of working independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Support site lead and DHF leads in coordinating work.
• Ensure documentation remains consistent across the DHFs.
• Prepare full DHF documentation in accordance with internal SOPs.
• Effectively communicate and work cooperatively with team.
• May support or execute testing in the lab as needed.
