Job summary

CMC is seeking a drafting professional to join our team, supporting construction reinforcement and steel products. You will create technical drawings and plans, collaborate with engineering and production, and maintain documentation.

An associate degree in drafting is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software, knowledge of precast and concrete standards, and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of precast and concrete regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Communicate with team members to ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Create technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and plans.
• Revise and update drawings as necessary.
