Job summary

BCI Brands is seeking a Design Tech with experience in women's sweaters to support the design team in creating product development tech packs. This full-time role requires knowledge of sweater construction and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.

Based in New York, the position offers health benefits, Life Insurance, 401k, PTO, commuter benefits, training and growth opportunities. Minimum 2+ years in sweater design and an Associate degree in Fashion Design are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sweater construction, GG, and stitches.
• Create techpacks for new development using store bought samples and inspiration images.
• Organized team player looking to work within a fast paced sweater team.
• Strong skills in Excel, PLM Centric experience is ideal.
• Good communication working with designers on what the overall look is expected.
• Use reference specs from best seller and work with designers on creating updates.
• Associate degree in Fashion Design required.
• Min 2+ in sweater design experience mandatory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to define overall look and specs.
• Maintain organized, fast-paced sweater team workflow.
• Use reference specs from best sellers to drive updates.

The salary for this full-tine role depends on experience between $65-000-$85,000.
