Job summary

Coinbase's Design Systems team is seeking a Product Designer II to shape the Coinbase Design System (CDS) and scale components across web and mobile. You will work with Design and Engineering across Platform and Consumer orgs to make complex tasks feel simple.

You'll own iterative improvements, drive system features from ideation through prototyping, user testing, and production delivery, and collaborate to document scalable patterns that empower millions of customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional product design experience with a focus on design systems.
• Experience designing scalable components and systems for consumer web and mobile.
• Proficiency with AI design tools and generative AI in design workflows.
• Expert-level Figma skills including prototyping design system components.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, researchers, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the iterative improvement of design system components and patterns, ensuring they scale across web and mobile products.
• Drive new system features from ideation through prototyping, user testing, and production delivery.
• Partner with Design and Engineering teams to document, define, and evangelize scalable design patterns.
• Lead participation in design reviews, seeking feedback to raise the quality bar.
• Execute on the design systems product roadmap and contribute to long-term systems strategy.
