Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Design Systems Lead to embed judgment into Ramp’s design foundations, empowering designers, engineers, and agents to build consistently across experiences. You’ll guide architecture, craft patterns, and elevate typography, hierarchy, interaction, and motion while steering a high-impact design systems team.

You will champion AI-enabled design workflows and create reusable guidance that improves speed and quality across product experiences at Ramp.

Qualifications

• Strong design systems leadership experience.
• Ability to turn design principles into reusable patterns and guidance.
• Deep taste in typography, hierarchy, interaction, and motion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the design systems team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Shape architecture and provide guidance across designers, engineers, and agents.
• Build patterns and tools that scale, enabling non-designers to create coherent experiences.
• Collaborate with AI teams to explore and implement AI-assisted design workflows.
• Ensure high-quality, accessible, and performant design implementations.
