Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Design Systems Designer to define how client design systems are built. You will extract patterns from brands and reference sites into a working system with tokens, variables, modes, and core components for a scalable build pipeline.

You will own token architecture in Figma, ship robust component libraries, and document the system for developers and automated pipelines, while coordinating work across multiple client brands with consistent rigor.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio where work looks different for each client but underlying rigor remains the same.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities
