Job summary

carbonhouse, inc. is seeking a Design Specialist in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid role (onsite 3 days/week). You will support the creative team on client websites, digital templates, social and web assets, and take on your own client design projects as you grow.

You'll collaborate with web designers, manage assets, mock up designs, and prepare email templates along with print collateral. The role requires 1+ years of design experience and proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Support our creative team across client websites, digital templates, social and web assets — and take on your own client design projects as you grow.

New Charlotte, NC (hybrid — onsite 3 days/week) $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

carbonhouse builds the digital infrastructure behind live entertainment — the websites and products powering arenas, stadiums, theaters and the events that fill them. Our creative department sits at the heart of that work.

As a Design Specialist, you'll support the creative department by helping manage and execute a wide range of design work for both internal and client-based projects. Reporting to our VP, Creative Director, you'll work alongside our web designers on client website designs, and take on your own client design projects as needed.

What you’ll do.

• Assist web designers in working with clients on their website designs, and take on your own client design projects as needed
• Help the creative department assemble, upload and organize design assets
• Mock up assets for digital templates
• Design a variety of digital assets for social media and web
• Prepare email templates
• Prepare print and branding collateral as needed

Requirements

What you’ll bring.

• 1+ years of graphic design experience — internship, freelance or an equivalent college degree
• An associate degree in a design-related field (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Competency in Figma
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Excellent skills in typography, branding and layout
• The ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while staying organized

Nice to have

• Experience designing for websites or digital products
• Experience preparing email templates or social media campaigns
• Sports, entertainment or live-event industry experience

Hybrid role — onsite three days per week at our Charlotte, NC office.
