Job summary

Munters seeks a Design Specialist in Daleville, VA to support product design and manufacturing through 3D modeling and documentation. Create 3D models, assemblies, and sheet metal designs in SolidWorks and develop BOMs and detailed assembly instructions.

You will collaborate with manufacturing to resolve design challenges, design piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper), and contribute to continuous improvement and special projects while training teammates on design tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of SolidWorks or 3D CAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal and mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with HVAC or mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and sheet metal designs in SolidWorks.
