Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a mechanical systems design professional to evaluate and plan mechanical capabilities for clients nationwide.

This role offers hybrid work with in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, and requires residency within 30 miles of Cincinnati, OH. The candidate will work on projects across pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and manufacturing sectors, leading exterior envelope and mechanical coordination efforts while traveling as needed.

Job Summary:

The candidate will provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of industrial market sectors, such as pharmaceutical, food & beverage, specialty chemical, and manufacturing environments. This position is offered in a hybrid work environment, with a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility. The candidate must reside within 30 miles of the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

• Provide exterior envelope consulting through site observations.
• Each site observation will require a technical picture and text report.
• Project consultants are required to schedule their site visits with the project teams.
• Project consultants internally schedule and coordinate our testing teams as needed.
• Maintain your schedule.
• While most of the projects will be remote work but site visits may be required.
• Occasional travel will arise and will require air travel and overnight stays.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
