Job summary

American Bathroom Remodelers seeks a Design SALES Consultant to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. This full-time role offers a strong base pay plus uncapped commission, with pre-qualified appointments and year-round work.

You will meet with homeowners, assess their needs, design remodeling solutions, present pricing and financing, and guide customers through the purchase process to close deals.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior bathroom remodeling sales experience.
• Experience in in-home consultations and closing sales.
• Construction or remodeling knowledge is a plus.

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys helping homeowners transform their living spaces? American Bathroom Remodelers is seeking a Design SALES Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a sales-driven, in-home bathroom remodeling position focused on helping homeowners select the best remodeling solutions for their needs. While design is an important part of the role, success in this position comes from building trust, presenting solutions, and confidently guiding customers through the purchasing process.

You’ll meet with pre-qualified homeowners, provide customized bathroom remodeling recommendations, and help customers bring their dream bathrooms to life while achieving exceptional earnings through a proven sales process.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners during scheduled in-home consultations.
• Evaluate customers' bathroom remodeling needs, goals, and budget.
• Design and recommend customized bathroom remodeling solutions.
• Present products, upgrades, pricing, and financing options.
• Educate homeowners on product features, benefits, and installation processes.
• Guide customers through the sales process from consultation to signed agreement.
• Assist homeowners with selecting fixtures, colors, finishes, layouts, and design options.
• Accurately document project details and prepare contracts.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Follow our proven sales process to achieve and exceed personal sales goals.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous bathroom remodeling sales experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in bathroom remodeling, home improvement, remodeling, replacement windows, roofing, kitchens, or other in-home sales environments preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience conducting in-home consultations and closing sales.
• Construction or remodeling industry knowledge is a plus.
• Interior design experience may be beneficial, but candidates with strong sales backgrounds are preferred over design-only experience.
• Competitive mindset with a passion for helping homeowners improve their homes.
