Burlington Building Materials Inc. is seeking a Design Sales Associate for our Irving showroom, a role blending design aesthetics with a high-touch client experience.

You will guide designers and homeowners through luxury material selections for residential and commercial projects, building strong relationships within the A&D community. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in design or showroom sales, a keen eye for color and materials, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in design sales, showroom sales, or interior design (tile, stone, flooring, or related industry preferred).
• Strong eye for design, color, and material coordination.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients (designers, architects, builders, homeowners) with product selection and project consultation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the A&D community.
• Generate and manage sales leads from showroom traffic and outreach efforts.
• Prepare quotes, follow-ups, and close sales opportunities.
• Maintain showroom presentation to reflect brand standards.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, design trends, and materials.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Design Sales Associate for our Irving showroom—a motivated, design-savvy professional who thrives in a client-facing, high-touch sales environment.

This role is ideal for someone who understands aesthetics, enjoys working with designers and homeowners, and can confidently guide clients through material selections for luxury residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in design sales, showroom sales, or interior design (tile, stone, flooring, or related industry preferred)
• Strong eye for design, color, and material coordination
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Experience with CRM systems and quoting is a plus
