Job summary

Nscale is building AI infrastructure with a focus on reliable, scalable power and energy systems. This Design Reliability Engineer role owns RAM modeling, FMEA programs, and the reliability data backbone for multi-campus deployments, coordinating with software, electrical, and operations teams.

You will drive reliability from design studies through commissioning, champion analytics, and mentor a team of consultants as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of reliability engineering experience on power generation or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience owning RAM analysis for large, redundant systems.
• Fluency with IEEE 493, OREDA, IEEE 3006 series or similar data sources and their limitations.
• Ability to defend the analysis to executives and customers.

Responsibilities

• RAM modeling and availability assurance for each campus.
• Own the FMEA/FMECA program for major equipment and systems.
• Develop RAM data and reliability foundations of the digital twin.
• Lead RAM consultants and coordinate with cross-discipline teams across power and mechanical scopes.
• Support commissioning and startup with reliability input and corrective actions.
