Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Design Quality Engineer II in Released Product Engineering Quality for the Electrosurgery and OR Safety portfolio. You will provide quality engineering support for post-market activities, ensuring design changes and risk management align with the Quality Management System across the product lifecycle.

The role collaborates with design engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to assess changes and update documentation, driving improvements

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.
• For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into finished products.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designs inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; performs statistical analysis to assess cost and responsibility for non-conforming products.
• Ensures corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation complies with requirements.
