Job summary

Marvin is seeking a hands-on Engineer to support product design, build prototypes, and install windows and doors for testing in Warroad, MN. You will manage documents, ECNs, and 3D models, collaborating with Engineers and Designers to test concepts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical skills with common shop tools (e.g., chop saw, table saw, drill press).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD modeling software (Inventor ideal).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and train others.

Responsibilities

• Document Management: create and track ECNs; update drawings, models and documents using 3D modeling software.
• Lead project print planners; review redlines; ensure prints meet drafting standards.
• Prototype support: build, install and test prototype units; develop feasible concepts.
• Understand installation and test criteria for product certification.
• Lead and train others on installation best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to document and test design concepts.
• Use 3D modeling software to develop concepts.
