Job summary

Mister Car Wash is seeking a Project Designer/Manager to lead design and renovation initiatives across our properties. You will develop concepts using CAD tools, coordinate with consultants and municipalities, and manage schedules and budgets for design initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a 4+ year track record in design/project management, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite, plus certification preferences in AutoCAD, PMP, or LEED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing design or architectural projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external consultants.
• Proficiency in design and project management software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, Smartsheet).
• AutoCAD certification or equivalent preferred.

• Project Design and Planning: consult with team and stakeholders to provide innovative and functional designs for renovation projects.
• Project Management: coordinate with outside design consultants and municipalities for permits and approvals; manage plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Team and Stakeholder Coordination: lead project meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain project documentation; prepare status reports and presentations.

What you will do

• Project Design and Planning
  • Consult with team and stakeholders to provide innovative and functional designs for renovation projects.
  • Create concepts and schematic designs using CAD and design software.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate design phases, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
• Project Management
  • Coordinate with outside design consultants for required construction documents.
  • Consult with municipalities as required for entitlement and permit approval.
  • Review design documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for design initiatives.
• Team and Stakeholder Coordination
  • Facilitate communication between design teams, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Support team collaboration and resolve design-related challenges.
• Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and approvals.
  • Prepare regular status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

How you will shine
