Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• NICET certification preferred.

Job Summary

Design Project Manager role at EMCOR Group, Inc. responsible for managing design and execution of construction projects across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, P&ID, and fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and BIM models.
• Read and interpret contractual drawings, specifications, and codes (IPC, AFC, NFPA, and local ordinances).
• Coordinate cross‑discipline deliveries, present design solutions to clients, owners, and construction teams.
• Develop hydraulic calculations, cost analysis, and fabrication lists for fire protection systems.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout design phase.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or MEP systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, BIM software, and hydraulic calculation tools.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Strong communicator, self‑motivated, and organized with attention to detail.
• NICET certification preferred.
