Job summary

Jabil in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead global design programs for interactive touch-display products and embedded systems. You will own scope, schedule, budget, risks, governance, and stakeholder communications to ensure quality, cost, schedule, and manufacturing-readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 10–12+ years managing product-development programs, experience with PCBA, enclosure, and box-build, and familiarity with Agile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, PM, Operations, or related field.
  • 10–12+ years of experience managing complex product-development programs for integrated electronic hardware within a Quality Management System.
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality, change control, stakeholders, and phase-gate governance from concept through mass production and sustaining handoff.
  • Experience coordinating global design teams, manufacturer teams, suppliers, and customers in a matrix organization.
  • Experience with professional display, interactive touch, human-machine interface, control-panel, conferencing, industrial electronics, or comparable embedded connected products strongly preferred.
  • Project management experience across PCBA design and manufacturing, mechanical enclosure development, and box-build manufacturing from prototype through production ramp.
  • Agile or Scrum experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage programs from requirements and architecture planning through validation, certification, production launch, and sustaining handoff.
  • Develop and maintain integrated scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, milestones, dashboards, risks, issues, and change controls.
  • Coordinate global electrical, mechanical, optical, touch, firmware, software, quality, sourcing, supplier, test, and manufacturing teams; clarify ownership, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Manage customer and executive communications, design and readiness reviews, action closure, contract commitments, and timely escalation of unresolved issues.
  • Oversee PCBA workstreams, including design reviews, BOM and component readiness, prototype and NPI builds, verification, production test, yield improvement, and production transition.
  • Oversee mechanical enclosure workstreams, including materials, tooling, tolerance and fit, structural and thermal considerations, cosmetics, prototypes, and production qualification.
  • Manage box-build integration and readiness for PCBAs, displays, touch modules, enclosures, cables, firmware, calibration, final testing, traceability, labeling, packaging, and manufacturing ramp.
  • Ensure functional owners define and complete product requirements, design deliverables, compliance, reliability, and validation for touch performance, image quality, environmental, mechanical, electrical-safety, EMC, wireless, and representative-use conditions.
  • Coordinate suppliers and manufacturing teams on tooling, component availability, qualification builds, test coverage, yield, end-of-life risks, cost, and recovery plans.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction, confidentiality, and compliance with company safety, health, security, and quality procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

How Will You Make An Impact?

Manage complex, global design programs for interactive touch-display products and related embedded systems. Own project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, governance, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate cross-functional design, quality, sourcing, supplier, test, and manufacturing teams while functional leaders retain technical ownership. Partner with customers and business units to define requirements, statements of work, milestones, validation, and manufacturing-readiness deliverables, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, schedule, supply-chain, regulatory, and customer expectations.

What Will You Do?
Project Management

  • Working knowledge of touch-display architecture, including display and touch modules, cover glass, optical bonding, embedded electronics, firmware, connectivity, mechanical enclosures, and box build.

  • Ability to manage PCBA, enclosure, box-build, manufacturing, verification, reliability, compliance, and engineering-change deliverables without serving as the functional design authority.

  • Proficiency with integrated schedules, resource and budget tracking, dependency maps, risk and action logs, dashboards, change control, and phase-gate reporting.

  • Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.
