Job summary

Meta is seeking a Design Program Manager in the Risk org to act as a connector and problem solver for design leads and product teams. You will help run the functional team, align design priorities with product roadmaps, and remove blockers to accelerate responsible, compliant product development.

• Experience with compliance, trust & safety, or responsible AI product development.
• Demonstrated AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration).
• Experience implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation).
• Experience with accessibility programs or inclusive design practices.
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
• Experience leading product or business strategy in time-sensitive environments.
• Experience managing vendors and contractors.

Design Program Managers in the Risk org

are connectors and problem solvers. By supporting the design leads in running the functional team, as well as supporting product teams' design priorities, you will enable Meta to design, build, and ship responsible, compliant products. You will improve team communication, collaboration, and remove roadblocks. You'll utilize a full range of organizational and effective communication skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to strengthen the team, industry expertise, and team impact, and you'll work with cross‑functional teams to establish great ways of working together.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in program or project management
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects with shifting requirements, from initial concept and road‑mapping through execution and delivery
• Experience working directly with product designers and content designers
• Experience independently managing project timelines, setting priorities, and escalating blockers across multiple workstreams
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
• Experience with compliance, trust & safety, or responsible AI product development
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience with accessibility programs or inclusive design practices
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
