McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a Design Professional I in Kentucky to contribute to architectural production from concept through construction documents. You will coordinate design development, prepare plans, and collaborate with engineers, clients, and contractors on large, complex projects.

You will review designs, conduct code research, and support coordination across disciplines, ensuring architectural integrity throughout the construction process.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture
• 1-3 years' experience as a design professional
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software

• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions
• Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects
• Perform specific and limited portions of assignments for medium to large scale projects using prescribed methods

• Perform construction administration to include facilitation of project communications, maintenance of project records, review and certification of amounts due to contractors, and preparation of change orders
• Support business development activities as necessary

Description

Position Summary

The Design Professional Ill is responsible for key production and coordination for all project phases from conceptual design to constructions documents and provides planning/design/coordination consultation on larger projects. Additionally, they may manage small scale projects from conceptual design through construction administration, under the general supervision of a licensed architect.
