Job summary

RNGD is seeking a Design Manager to integrate architectural design with fabrication awareness and digital tools, advancing prefabrication, kit-of-parts systems, and coordinated workflows. You will bridge design intent with manufacturing and field installation, shaping an integrated feedback loop across Design, Manufacturing, and Product Line Expansion.

The role emphasizes computational design tools, model-based coordination, and development of scalable building systems within RNGD’s Renegade

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in architectural or building design.
• Proficiency with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Design integration and prefabrication strategy to standardize building components.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to evaluate early-stage designs.
• Integrate structural, MEP, and envelope systems into coordinated prefabricated solutions.
• Translate conceptual designs into digital models for off-site manufacturing and on-site installation.
• Lead model-based coordination across design, engineering, manufacturing, and field teams.
• Embed installation sequencing and spatial requirements into BIM environments.
