Job summary

FAM Brands in Beverly Hills is seeking a strategic and hands-on Design Manager to lead the design function across sportswear and activewear. You will mentor three Design Managers, ensure cohesive vision and brand alignment, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in apparel design with leadership experience, a strong understanding of lifecycle from concept to production, and the ability to balance creative goals with margin targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in apparel design with 3–5+ years in leadership.
• Proven success managing and developing multiple design teams.
• Strong background in sportswear or performance apparel.
• Understanding of full product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Ability to balance creative vision with commercial and margin goals.
• Strategic thinker who translates business objectives into design direction.
• Strong leadership presence with clear communication and influence.
• Highly organized with solid project management in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional partnership experience.
• Strong trend awareness and drive for innovation.
• Ability to operate with speed, agility, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop three Design Managers across Men’s categories.
• Define and drive the overall design vision and brand consistency.
• Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, and Production to build assortments.
• Oversee seasonal calendars and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and product storytelling.
