Job summary

BHDP Architecture is seeking a Design Manager to drive client relationships and project profitability for integrated industrial design initiatives in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, align scope, schedule and budget, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across projects.

The role emphasizes growth through existing client relationships, cross-market opportunities, and strategic collaboration with the Market Leader, while mentoring Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (NAAB) or Interior Design (CIDA) required.
• Architectural license or NCIDQ certification preferred.
• 12+ years in the design/architecture industry.
• 5+ years in industrial design.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and proactive communication.
• Ability to lead and coach teams and manage client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leads project-wide expectations for project management and scalable governance.
• Assesses and prioritizes project risk and protects client relationships.
• Partners with Sales Leadership to establish client relationship strategy.
• Executes day-to-day strategy toward successful client outcomes and repeat business.
• Achieves growth by managing existing client relationships and supporting new pursuits.
• Builds trusted advisor relationships with clients to connect BHDP services to business needs.
